Stickaz: Pixel Customization Stickers For Your Own Wall Art

There is a movement out there that is focused on pixel art, and it’s growing by the thousands each day. It’s not exactly the most well known community, but it’s one that is constantly trying to revive the pixel artwork that we have all been familiar with since we were kids. At least this is true for those of us who were born before the ’80s. This particular graphics genre is one that in many ways is coming back. It might not be the most photo-realistic kind, but it is one that has huge geek value, and we can see that in several new games that are using it as an interface. The extremely successful Swedish made Minecraft is one of them, and it is beyond addicting.

However, if you were ever to want to create some rather awesome pixel art in your everyday life, there isn’t much you can do other than to print out some kind of template and then draw the pixels on the wall before you carefully paint it. Well, that is until now really. You can now get the ultimately geeky Stickaz and create pixel art right on your wall without any kind of hazard. All you need to do is follow the many templates that come with the box of sticker pixels.

The final result is sure to impress anyone who is visiting your house who breathes any kind of geekiness. Just make sure that you pick the pattern or template that you like most because once it’s stuck on the wall, there is where it will remain. You can of course rip it off, but I am sure that the wallpaper or paint will follow with the sticker and not leave a nice decoration on that previously flawless wall. I sure would love to put some Super Mario world patterns on the hallway of our future office. That would let everyone know that what they are walking into is a geek empire full of nerdiness. Geek that world!
