The Frozen Star Wars Flash Mob In Times Square

The flash mob culture is one of those “inventions” that can be applied to just about anything. It’s a fantastic way to put some joy into people’s lives without them even expecting it. It happens quickly, unmercifully and of course out of the clear blue sky. What you thought was just a regular day can turn into something that you will remember for the rest of your life. It’s epic, and it is definitely quite an experience. Where it happens though is only disclosed to people who participate to make the event even more unpredictable. Of course, the mandatory recording of the event is always how it goes down because you wouldn’t want to go through all the trouble of planning and executing something which in the end, you wouldn’t be able to enjoy over and over again, right?

Recently in Times Square an epic flash mob put their plan into motion, and it was one of those unique and wonderful moments for the unsuspecting people who suddenly found themselves in the midst of an epic Star Wars battle that was frozen in time. The paused cosplay event was not only epic because of the scale of it, but it also pushed cosplay costume design a whole lot further when it comes to flash mobs. The scale of these preparations has never been seen before.

If you were among the lucky ones who happened to be in the middle of this epic paused battle, you should treasure it for the rest of your life. If you are a geek, I am sure you will since being right in the middle of a flash mob isn’t exactly the fortune of many. I am sure we will see a lot more of these flash mobs in the future. The Star Wars theme is one of the biggest themes of them all it seems, so there will definitely be a lot more of these to come.
