Upcycled Vintage Gear: The Ultimate Pet Bed Upgrade

Have you ever come across those people who treat their pets like royalty? Maybe you are even one of those people who constantly tries to make your pet feel like the center of the earth, and you go beyond what is humanly possible to give it food, clothes and toys that could possibly keep it busy until the end of time. Well, if you didn’t already know, there are people out there who constantly cater to their pets in a way that would make even the most dedicated mother and father look idle in their attempts to make the perfect Friday family evening. Even I think the spoiling of our animals sometimes goes beyond what is healthy for the animal itself.

The people (I assume it’s more than one) from the Etsy shop Atomic Addic totally fit into the above description. They go through vintage items like no one else in order to upgrade them all into… Pet beds. The variety is stunning, and the execution of these beds is close to royalistic in their finished form. I am sure if I had a dog or a cat, I would certainly go for one of these beds since they are not only cool looking, but they are based upon vintage items that any geek would idolize if still in its original look and feel.

In order to haul one of these home, you will have to cough up between $59-$179 for each pet bed. You can be sure that once you put it down at home, your pet will most likely run to it and defend it if you were to get within two feet of it. It’s just that good! It is easy to see why these are all being sold like they were this year’s hot Christmas present. All you really have to do is look at them, and remember that they are all one-offs that will have your pet feeling special in every way. And as we all know, that is exactly what you are after, isn’t it?
