Sometimes the stuff we get upset over is silly. I’m the first to admit I get all puffed up over stupid things every so often. I don’t know why we do that, but hopefully when we look back we can giggle about it. Most of the time I do. Everything in the world is relative, and although your car might not start in the morning, there is someone in the world who plans to walk for eight hours just to get clean water. I’m sure some people would love to have our first world problems.
Some people use Twitter as a stream of consciousness. In other words, they don’t really think about what they type before they type it. Those are the most fun tweets to read, and this group of 12 will give you a giggle. These first world problems (or annoyances) seem so trivial, and I’m sure even the people who typed them are smiling about them now.
There are actually 21 tweets in the collection, but I just put 12 of them here for you. You can see the rest of them by clicking over to 21 More Middle Class Problems. As the caption on Buzzfeed reads, “For these poor souls, life is an unending struggle.”
Benjamin Lee, the person behind the Twitter account called @middleclassprob, hunts out these types of tweets and retweets them. If you enjoy giggling over the silly struggles some people have during the day, you can follow that account for more.
After reading these, it’s easy to see that our lives are not as difficult as they may seem sometimes. If the worst thing we can complain about is the fact that our wallets are too small or we are forced to eat cake, well, we should really calm down. As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t mind having some of these first world problems. Some of them sound kinda good to me.
