@Jason_Pollock & @VoteAgain2010 Are Giving Away $5,000!

If there is one thing our friend @Jason_Pollock is famous for, besides cooking eggs with his girlfriend live online, it’s motivating young people to vote. Recently, he launched a new campaign with thirty of the biggest non-profit youth groups called @VoteAgain2010.

Youth voter turnout has been on the rise since 2000, and Vote Again 2010 is on a mission to make sure that trend continues. According to the official website, Vote Again 2010 “was developed to serve as an online destination that connects young voters with the many midterm election efforts taking place across the country.” (USA)

The site will be updated frequently to announce days of action and information for all young people to tap into and be a part of. Impressively, Vote Again 2010 has received a lot of press already. Their inspiring efforts have been featured in many media outlets including CNN, C-Span, NPR, Politico, Mother Nature Network, Washington Unplugged, The Hill and The Nation, just to name a few.

I wish something like this existed when I was a teenager. How exciting! Would you like to get involved and be a part of the fun? Vote Again 2010 is hosting a video contest where the winner will receive $5,000! It’s simple; just upload your own video before October 19th. Watch Jason and his friends explain how you can win below!

When I asked Jason what it is like to be part of this project, he said, “I’m so honored to be working with all of these great non-profits. The youth movement is stronger than ever, and this campaign shows that. There’s still plenty of time left to submit a video. I urge everyone to make a vid because voting is important and $5K isn’t chump change! :)”
