The Internet is chock-full of SEO tutorials and guides, but with so many resources, finding the perfect one for you can be a tedious job. We have several excellent SEO tutorials, guides, and infographics here on Bit Rebels but today we are going to take a closer look at your local SEO preferences. Perfecting your local SEO is as important as anything if you are a small or a medium sized company with a presence online.
It is no secret that we here at Bit Rebels like to publish visual information and what is better than infographics to do exactly that. To my help today, I am going to use an infographic called “32 Steps On Local SEO – Success Roadmap” created by 99MediaLab. It is a comprehensive infographic that will take you through the whole process of making your company or brand known in your local area.
A lot of people think that SEO is hard to understand and to perfect, but it doesn’t have to be that hard. Think of SEO as a set of parameters that search engines need to be able to rank your page appropriately. These parameters tell the search engine what kind of information is available on your page, how well it is presented and also, possibly most importantly, how relevant it is to the search query that the user has submitted. It isn’t any harder than that.
Some SEO services claim that improving your search engine optimization is a complicated task and that they can help you with it. However, it is not the hardest endeavor in the world, and usually, it just means changing a few things in the way you present your content on your page, how fast your page loads or a few minor improvements in the HTML file, etc. Sure, these can be daunting for someone not familiar with the way a page is built, but to have an understanding how SEO works, I would encourage anyone to learn a little bit about it to really perfect their SEO skills.
In this infographic, you will be taken through the roadmap of a virtual well-ranking website and implement, if applicable and possible, it into your own website. You might have implemented some of these things already, and if you have, just move on to the next step. When you have successfully implemented everything listed, you can be sure that your site is going to be found when local users are searching for a service or product like yours in the area you are operating in.
Make sure that you are thorough when you implement SEO parameters on your page as that could very well be the difference between your page showing up on the first page or way down the list. Once done, you can use free services like Woorank to check how well you have implemented your local SEO parameters. The service is free for one checkup ever fourteen days or so. The report will give you plenty of ideas of what you could fix and perfect to get an even higher local SEO score for your page. – If you have anything else that you would like to add to this local SEO guide, please feel free to tell us in the comment section below.
