Bit Rebels Enters A New Era With A New Server Migration

So the day has finally arrived when Bit Rebels is ready to take the next step. As many of you know, we have been modifying and adding new features to the site continuously since the site was launched back in 2009. We have gone through a number of servers since we started, and this time around, we are going to migrate to the ultimate solution. Our hope is that this server migration will keep us set for a few years to come, and we do this in order to keep up with our traffic demands.

Our earlier server migrations have been quite smooth, and we foresee an ultra smooth server migration this time around as well. However, one can never be entirely sure how features, core functions and performance will be affected when new technology is implemented. We have decided that today, Sunday, will be the day of our new server migration, which means that we will not publish any articles today. This is to make sure that we don’t trap the server migration finalization too much while we are checking that everything is working correctly.

Even though we have taken all the precautions to prevent any mishaps, there are still things that we are a little uncertain of, like how the new server will affect old code. So if you experience any bumpiness when browsing the site today, know that it’s due to the server migration and us making sure everything is working correctly.

When the migration is complete, you will experience a huge increase in speed, and we will also have the server power to create new, engaging and interesting features for you all to use. Our goal is to create the most up-to-date news site we can possibly make. We don’t want to reveal too much, but after the migration, we will be able to unleash a few new features that will make our content presentation more versatile. On top of that, we will be able to present it much quicker from discovery to presentation.

Our hope is that you will enjoy the new speed that the server migration will bring, and also that we will see increased interaction on the site. Thank you all for your support, and we will be back on Monday with more eye-catching and interesting content. In the meantime enjoy some funniness.
