E-Board – Personal Transportation Of The Future

With the dawn of modern technology and innovation, the creation of advanced gadgets and tools has become possible and this tends to change usage and performance. Those who are into skateboarding are lucky enough because Fraser Leid‘s E-board concept has been made to change their skateboarding experience.

Exoskeleton EXO symbolizes the aesthetics behind the E-board advanced skeletal construction. Getting the interpretations of a personal E-board or electric skateboard, this E-board was discreetly designed with an aim of becoming the very first compact and durable skateboard in the world that does not just look completely unique, but works like no other board ever created as well.

It’s simple to use and to understand at a glance even though its aesthetics might look like something out of a science fiction movie.  The rider conveniently push and pivots on the individual pedals which makes it turn, twist but also operate the two 150W motors, found at the base of every wheel.

Steering, braking and acceleration can be completely controlled using your feet. The board automatically detects what foot is in front of the other and the board is also able to change the orientation and direction of the electric motors.

The board also utilizes the very latest in cooling technology in the form of vents cooling the electrical motors on either side of the wheels, which help reduce overheating that often happens to electrical boards under too much pressure.

The E-board can be folded, using a cleverly located button, to an impressive minimal size that will enable you to transport it to whatever location you want, without feeling it’s too bulky or annoying. The battery is positioned at the center of the board which helps stabilize the performance of it. It should be said that this is currently just a concept idea that is currently being developed into a real product. Once finalized it will completely change the way we transport ourselves once more.
