Fan with No Blades? How does it work?

James Dyson has invented and launched a fan with no blades.  It’s safer and cooler.  How does it work?  It utilizes the Air Multiplyer.  I have included the video to see the product at work and explained by James himself.  Amazing invention.

The Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan works very differently to conventional fans. It uses Air Multiplier™ technology to draw in air and amplify it 15 times. With no blades or grille, it’s safe, easy to clean and doesn’t cause unpleasant buffeting.  Using an airfoil-shaped ramp (like a cross-section through an airplane wing), airflow is amplified 15 times. This creates a smooth, powerful airflow, with no need for fast-spinning blades.
