Have you ever felt like the sea is a scary place with a lot of creepy animals swimming and crawling around? If that’s the reason why you have never scuba dived then you must renegotiate your fears. The underwater life is ten times as beautiful as dry land. There are things you couldn’t even dream about down there. And, you don’t even have to go down very far to see them. On top of that, it was recently announced that you don’t even have to be able to scuba diver in order to visit the watery worlds under the surface. That’s thanks to BOB!
Who is BOB? Well, it’s name is really HydroBOB (or Hydrodome), and it’s a new underwater scooter that will enable you to drive around underwater without any bulky scuba diving gear or any knowledge of how to use it. You just climb in, dive and drive around. The rest is taken care of by BOB, breathing and all. For the first time ever, you will be able to experience the world underwater without having to worry about the gear.
BOB stands for “Breathing Observation Bubble” and comes from the brilliant mind of Andrew Sneath. The guy is a genius and has created many different groundbreaking aquatic inventions. How about RoboShark and Rocket 4 UCV. The names alone are inspiring enough to understand the guy is doing something awesome. If I ever have a beach house, I would certainly call Mr. Sneath and ask him if a couple of BOBs were for sale. That would be the ultimate pad if you ask me. Imagine stepping out onto your back porch leading out to the water. There are a couple of BOBs hanging around. Jump in an take a look at the other world in the world. It’s life at its best.
