The sad news reached the world today that Apple’s co-founder and pioneering innovator Steve Jobs died peacefully surrounded by his family. What this will mean for Apple I don’t think anyone will know until things settle a bit, but one thing is for sure, and that is that it will be quite difficult for the company to match the legendary charisma of one of the world’s greatest entrepreneurs. After the failed keynote (as many people are calling it) where they presented the new iPhone 4s, I think Apple has to come up with something quite fresh in order to keep the momentum going now that Steve is not there to show them the way anymore.
There has been a lot said about the new iPhone 4s since that keynote, and even though there are some really cool features incorporated such as SIRI and the Family And Friends location feature, the presentation still lacked the mojo of impression they usually have. There were no real ground-breaking devices presented. The numbers were as always impressive; however, we’ve gotten so used to Apple kickin’ butt that we no longer raise our eyebrows if it is one billion more in profit or not.
However, for all of you who are looking forward to upgrading your iPhone 4 to an iPhone 4s, your wait is over. As of today, you can upgrade your phone really fast and quite inexpensively as well. Forget the contracts and the price ladders, this upgrade is a one time fee only, and you will be ahead of everyone still waiting to upgrade. The price shouldn’t scare you off since it is only $0.99 for the entire upgrade. Order today! (Do I even have to mention that this is of course a joke? lol)
