Impressively Intricate Boombox Retro Case For The iPhone 5

We’re going to take a look at an unusually cool iPhone 5 case today. Cases for the iPhone 5 have started to enter the market in great numbers. Some of them are just cases that were previously available for iPhone 4/S users which received an update. However, this one is somewhat new and will have any retro geek drool out of pure excitement. iPhone cases usually have little more than an appealing color, and when they do have some kind of additional feature, they are usually quite expensive. I wish I could tell you this one had all the features that it conveys visually, but that’s not the case. This is a pure retro case that will stir up a conversation with anyone who might catch a glimpse of it when you bust it out.

It is called the Boombox Ghetto Blaster iPhone Case and is an homage to the retro days of the ’80s. It’s an unimaginably detailed retro case that certainly looks quite real. I sure wouldn’t mind having my very own working mini boombox to blast some dubstep on all day long, but this case is just for show unfortunately. It looks amazing nonetheless, and I think you will agree with me when I say that any other case trying to look retro doesn’t even come close to the detail this badboy incorporates.

It’s developed by Caseorama and sells for just $18.50 over on Amazon. It’s a rather nice price for something that will certainly personalize your iPhone 5 beyond your wildest dreams. It’s getting easier and easier to become a retro traveler these days, and this one helps you incorporate more retro into your everyday life. I have seen a good number of iPhone cases throughout the years, and I have to be honest, this might not have any cool features, but it is certainly one of the best looking ones I have seen and even written about. Retro cases like these will always have a special place in our hearts. Maybe in the future someone will create a case that will actually mimic the features of a retro boombox and actually make it work. We can only hope.
