iPICS 2 GO: Create Physical Photos Directly From Your iPhone

Yes, everything we know is slowly being digitized and put on the Internet. For some, that is a scary thought, while for others, it’s a dream come true. I guess it really depends on what kind of person you are, and whether or not you like messing around with gadgets and computers or not. One thing I think everyone will agree on is that it is somewhat sad to see the old mediums fall victim to this new and rapidly spreading digitization of pretty much everything. Take photos for example. There was something very special about the process of opening up a physical photo album and looking at all the old photographs that were kept safe inside it.

Well, everything that we once loved doesn’t really have to go, if you know what I mean. All it takes is some new technology to help us hold onto the dream of still being able to print our photos on physical paper. In this particular case, there is one gadget that could potentially save our dreams of continuing to do just that, and that is the iPICS 2 GO device. It is exactly what you think it is, a small and almost portable photo printer that doesn’t only print photos, but it also projects images.

This new device, which still doesn’t have a price set (I think), will definitely become the ultimate photo accessory for many amateur photographers out there who are looking for a fast way to turn their digital images into a physical form. Not bigger than today’s toaster, this thing will fit snugly on that desk of yours which most likely is cramped with gear like a laptop, cameras, lenses and everything else that might be useful in an amateur photographer’s daily life. This brings a certain joy to me since I thought the digitization of images would knock out the entire physical side of the whole trade. All that is left is to see what the quality is, and how easy the process of using this thing will be. If all this is to everyone’s satisfaction, I am sure this thing will become a huge success. I certainly like it so far.
