iShower: Lets You Rock It Out In The Shower

There is a constant stream of weird and wonderful gadgets emailed to us from our readers, as well as new things brought onto the market every week. Whether or not we need those things is a different story. They are there to do one thing, and that is to help us optimize our time and possibly bring us new ways to use services, gadgets and software. One thing that constantly keeps popping up are the geeky gadgets that really don’t have a wide demand. Since we never really thought about them before, they seemingly create a demand instead of probing an already existing one. These gadgets are usually what makes us raise our eyebrows every now and then.

In the ever growing pool of “i” gadgets, there is another one that the manufacturer, iDevices, has been tinkering with for a while. It is called the iShower. Yes, it’s actually a real gadget that might have you rockin’ it out in the shower. It’s a music device meant to be operated and mounted in your shower. It will enable you to play music when taking a shower or a bath without ruining your iPod, iPhone or iPad.

It’s a wall mounted device which is available as of right now, and it will set you back a cool $99.99. I take it there are not too many people out there who are in desperate need of such a gadget, so look at it as more of a luxury gadget. Either way, it’s quite a neat way to enhance that bathroom of yours, and to bring some kind of new technology into it. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see an iShower TV sometime soon. I know there are plenty of ways to incorporate TVs into our bathrooms, but is there a simple and straight forward way as of yet? Maybe there is. For now, this is your way of incorporating some “i” into your shower and rocking it out. Do I hear a lot of bones breaking in the future?
