Official Star Wars iPhone Cases Soon To Enter Our Galaxy

As all of you know, there have been quite a few iPhone cases that have met their demise because of failed licensing deals and copyright issues overall. I am sure they will never completely disappear though, and new ones are announced continuously. If you happen to have been one of the first ones to buy one of these cases, you know that you are carrying something that not a lot of people will ever be able to get. Another part of this is that when the case is pulled from the market, the fans can no longer get their hands on it, and that ultimately makes it even more special. Usually when some epic and totally badass iPhone case are announced, this seems to be the case, and they are discontinued within their first couple of days on the market.

All of that is about to change though. You are about to see something entering our galaxy that will have you cheering for days. It so happens that iPhone case manufacturer PowerA acquired a licensing deal with Lucasfilm to start selling their awesome Star Wars inspired iPhone cases. They are pattern replicas of the now legendary characters of Star Wars, and they are sure to satisfy even the most hardcore Star Wars fans.

The cases, which are said to be shipping later this year, will cost between $30-$40. The first lineup includes R2-D2, C-3PO, Chewbacca and of course Darth Vader. Which one will become the most popular is of course up to you, the fans. I have no clue whether they will come with a whole set of new ringtones, sounds and stuff, or if they are only original cases for your iPhone. It would totally be awesome if they came with a new sound scope that would make your iPhone go bee-boop-beep everytime you got a message or a someone tried to call you. So, will you get one?
