Pergunter: Image Questions Let Followers Answer Your Questions

There has been a lot of ingenuity on the Internet since it became widespread and people made it popular. Everything from texts to programming languages have been optimized and created in order to make things faster and more robust. But when it comes to images, things have pretty much stayed the same. If you have an image, you can upload it, add a few sizes, alt and title tags, and that is pretty much it. Well, that is if we’re not looking directly at the possibilities that CSS and other languages enable. So what is it with images that makes them so hard to innovate with? Nothing really. I guess it’s just something that we haven’t had a reason to optimize before. Until now! A new startup enables image questions to be implemented into your pictures.

It’s quite a nifty little approach really. Let’s say you have a picture of a dog, but you don’t know what breed it is. Or maybe you have a picture of a location somewhere, but you have no idea where it is. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to ad image questions to the pictures themselves and have people answer them? Sure, it would be quite simple to add the image questions beneath them in text as well. But with this approach, you will be able to save a lot of time.

The “app” that will enable this is called Pergunter. The website enables you to quickly choose pictures, add image questions to them, and then have your friends or other people answer them. It’s really that simple. By the looks of it, it’s a new kind of social network. Combine Pinterest with Quora and you have Pergunter. You can either upload and add your image questions on the Pergunter website or with their app (which is free). It’s a simple and straightforward idea that could have huge potential. The question is, as always, whether or not Pergunter will be able to appeal to the masses the way Quora and Pinterest have been able to do. I guess it’s all up to you guys to decide. Check out Pergunter, the image questions social network, to see if it will hook and reel you in for addiction too. There is a whole world out there, and we all need answers, right?
