5 Most Successful Internet Entrepreneurs Of 2012 [Infographic]

These days, there are more people than ever who are trying to make a living online, and many of them are successful. They get a great idea, and then they sell it to as many people as possible. Every Internet entrepreneur sells something. It could be an idea, a social service, entertainment, or actual goods you buy with cash. It doesn’t matter. The right concept with the right amount of hard work and dedication at the right time can result in success. I once heard someone say, “You better learn how to sell something, anything, because if you don’t, you’ll always be the person being sold to.” The moment I heard that, I knew I didn’t want to be just the person being sold to, if you know what I mean.

Each time another year ends, it’s always fun to look back at the most successful Internet entrepreneurs and gain inspiration from what they were able to achieve. This infographic called The 5 Biggest Internet Entrepreneurs Of 2012 by bestfinanceschools.net shows you at a glance who the big winners were last year. I’m excited to see who will be on a list like this for 2013.

There are some things about these Internet entrepreneurs that are predictable, and there are some things that I am surprised about. I think they may have gotten the male/female percentage mixed up on this infographic since we all know that Pinterest is not 72% male. I did not know that on the first day Instagram launched, they amassed 25,000 users. That’s nuts. That probably had a lot to do with timing since Instagram’s launch coincided with the iPhone 4 release in 2010.

The stats presented in this infographic came from TechCrunch, Mashable and a few other sites which you can see at the bottom. The thing that is so inspiring about becoming an Internet entrepreneur is that everyone starts at the same place. It’s an equal playing field. It doesn’t matter what gender you are, where you live, what color your skin is or how old you are. If you can learn the skills, and if you have a good idea, you can become an Internet entrepreneur!
