I don’t judge anyone for how they spend their money; to me, it’s a personal decision. Different things are important to different people; however, sometimes I giggle because the things people choose to buy are so different than what I would spend money on. I understand though, for some people, only the best will do.
For example, this Gummy Bear Chandelier costs $9,500. To me, it borders on insanity to spend that much money on a light fixture made of gummies, but I’m sure there is a market for that product somewhere. My friend @mistygirlph wrote about the most expensive iPhone and I was equally as blown away that some people would spend £1.92 million for a phone.
I have found something to share with you today that I truly believe will amaze you. This iPhone case, affectionately named “Golden Delicious,” costs $108,880! This made me laugh because it seems so silly to me to spend $108,880 to cover and protect a $200 phone. Haha! I think I paid $25 for my mobile phone case, but then again, mine isn’t made of 18 carat gold and encrusted in diamonds.
In most of the advertising for this phone case, you will see it marketed as an art piece, not a phone covering. Created by Munich-based designers from GnG, this phone case is the ultimate in bling bling. According to http://www.luxurylaunches.com, it is made of “140 grams of 18 carat gold filled with 200 diamonds along with a 400 diamond logo. This logo can be customized according to your needs. The shell is very slim at 1mm and it offers great stability and security with a special high-tech carbon fiber inlay.”
