Shopping is something that women love to do, it is quite exciting to look at the latest fashion trends. Of course, when we decide to purchase an item, we like to actually see how the dress looks on us. I know that in some stores they even hold a preview of certain collections.
I love fashion, and I enjoy watching fashion shows both during live events and online. The beauty of technology now is that we can participate whether it be a live event, or in this case, live and through mobile. I truly love the concept of this “Undressing Room” done in front of the Daffy store.
People were asked to send an SMS to the models. The SMS told the models which outfits they wanted to see. The beauty here is that the models would change clothes in front of the audience. There was even a large screen that showed the live SMS exchanges between the consumers and the models. It was very interactive. The idea of allowing us to participate via a device that we always have with us wherever we go was pure genius. I think that allowing a person to experience your brand through interaction is the way to go. Allowing them to play and interact not only creates a buzz, but a lasting impression of your brand.
