There are a boatload of applications out there that will enable you to tweet. Even though Twitter once wanted to regain control over their service by shutting out many of the applications created for Twitter because of many different reasons, developers always find new ways to create useful apps to make the service even more awesome. It should not come as a huge surprise that there are some people out there who really want to make tweeting as easy as possible. We have seen examples of this on a number of occasions. We’ve seen everything from tweeting toasters to cars that start with just a tweet. And I assure you, it won’t stop there.
iPhone hacker and assumed Twitter lover Tyler Nettleton aka InfectionFX recently announced that he is soon to release (maybe at the end of the week) a jailbreak app that will enable you to tweet using the iPhone Siri service. It would be the ultimate relaxation app if you ask me. All you’d need to do is turn on the app, start talking to Siri, and then simply say… “Tweet it.” At least I assume this is how it is going to work. This certainly has to be the one hack to rule them all when it comes to Twitter, at least so far.
However, it won’t be for everyone unfortunately. This will only work on jailbroken iPhones, and unless you have one or plan to jailbreak one, you will be out in the rain for yet another while. Who knows, maybe Apple is working on their very own Twitter Siri app. Or, maybe Twitter is even working on this. The ultimate thing would be if Apple would open up the API for Siri to make every developer able to code their own Siri Twitter application. I am sure this feature would increase the tweeting like mad. I mean, it would be like having your very own HAL2000 computer at your disposal. I call that Twitter gone awesome!
