Recently the world’s largest TV was unveiled, and wow is it a sight to see. If you are into watching television, you’ll drool when you see how this monstrosity of a TV unfolds and comes to life. I can’t even imagine watching an episode of The Walking Dead on this badboy. This TV is so huge that you’d only be able to watch it outside, so it might not be the best choice in the wintertime. You’d have to live in a castle with extra tall ceilings for this thing to fit indoors.
This television, which is being called the world’s largest TV, was unveiled by C Seed Entertainment Systems. It was designed by the Porsche Design Studio, and it oozes luxury. This television won the Red Dot “Best of the Best 2012” design award, and it definitely raises the bar when it comes to outdoor entertainment. I don’t see how any other TV could even compare to this.
This is how it works…After you turn it on, it takes 25 seconds for it to rise from the ground and open up its 7 LED panels. It can rotate 135 degrees so you can position it in exactly the right place. It displays the picture in high-res with its 725,000 LED lights. And, now for the kicker, it has a jaw-dropping 201-inch screen. No wonder it’s the largest TV in existence.
These apparently went on sale last month. If you want to pick one up for yourself, be prepared to pay dearly. It will cost you £414,000 which is about the cost of 4 Porsche 911 cars. But hey, look on the bright side, not only will you have the coolest television on the block, nobody will be able to steal it. I mean, who’s going to be able to grab that and run, right?
