How can you not be ultimately impressed when you see people take the most common things and create mind blowing art out of them? We have featured a lot of incredible art here on Bit Rebels, and usually it’s things that you couldn’t even imagine being created. When it comes to traditional art, like when an artist uses a pen and paper, things can get pretty ordinary. But, the pen stroke faces that are featured in this article are anything but ordinary, and they deserve to be seen by millions.
These pen stroke faces, which are almost too good to be true, are the creation of Vince Low from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They are some of the most impressive drawings I have personally ever seen. Sure, there are some pretty impressive caricatures out there and so forth, but these drawings are just beyond incredible. The fact that they are based on single pen strokes is in itself impressive. Now, I know how that sounds and most people will most likely say that all these drawings are based on multiple pen strokes, but these are different. They have their own style for sure.
When you start looking deeper into the technique used to produce these pen stroke faces, you will quickly see that they are amazingly detailed and that they sometimes border on photorealistic. This is at least true when you think about the fact that they are accurate to each detail on these famous movie stars. There is no doubt who they are supposed to be portraits of, and maybe that’s why they are so incredibly impressive.
I believe we have featured other art here on Bit Rebels that is similar to these faces, but nothing quite like this. In order to be able to draw pen stroke faces like these, you certainly need to know where to put the strokes and how to “bundle” the details just right in order for the drawings to get the right look and realistic appeal. I only have one word to say about these faces really, and that is that they are simply…amazing!
