By The Year 2020 There Will Be One Billion Entrepreneurs [Infographic]

Currently there are approximately 380 million entrepreneurs in the world. However, in seven short years, that number could very well jump to one billion. That is a huge increase! Why will there be so many more entrepreneurs added to the workforce in such a short time? Well, for one thing, currently only 61% of the world’s population has either a full-time or a part-time traditional job. But there are other reasons also.

In this infographic called One Billion Entrepreneurs by Anna Vital and Vlad Shyshov at FundersandFounders.com, you’ll get to see how they derived at the number one billion. You can also read the corresponding text over on their website. According to this, some people will become entrepreneurs because they have to, and I understand that. However, I also think that as people grow tired of working traditional jobs that force them to sacrifice so much in their personal lives, they are becoming more and more inspired to follow their dreams.

I mean, if you’re going to work 14 hours a day, you might as well do it for yourself and build your own empire rather than do it for someone else, right? With this many more entrepreneurs emerging in the world, there will be a whole new set of needs that will emerge along with them which will require filling. If you are trying to think of a creative business idea so you can start your own business, you might be able to use this information to your advantage.

One billion entrepreneurs is a lot of people. I wonder how this will affect an already crippled healthcare system in America. I wonder how this will affect the economy in other countries around the world, and I wonder how this will affect our own lives. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
