Here we go again with another creative mashup, and I love this one! It’s Batman and The Joker, if Dr. Seuss created them. The last time we wrote about Dr. Seuss was about a year ago when Richard wrote Star Wars If Dr. Seuss Had Created It. I’m glad that I have the opportunity to revisit the Dr. Seuss world again today since it always inspires my imagination to travel to brand new places.
These well done illustrations were created by Australian deviantARTist DrFaustusAU. There are more creative illustrations on his deviantART page for you to check out. As unusual as it might seem to mashup Batman and Dr. Seuss, it also seems like a logical combination.
Even though I’m not an artist, it seems to me like Dr. Seuss might work well in a lot of mashups since it’s more of a style than anything else. I hope we see more mashups with Dr. Seuss this year. There is just something about it that’s so nostalgic! Who knows, maybe someday an artist will put the Grinch in a supervillain’s costume while he’s stealing Christmas. Now that would be neat to see!
