Bicycle Chain Chandelier: No More Running For The Light!

While I am on the subject of interior design, I might as well bring you something so out there that it actually works quite well. When I first looked at it, I couldn’t understand what was so unique with it until I saw the chains… and the rims… and the… Well, I think you know what I mean. I am sure you will have the same experience when looking at these cause at first glance there is nothing odd about them. When we take a closer look, we suddenly see that they are entirely created by a bicycle wheel and chain.

Carolina Fontoura Alzaga is a designer with skills that you haven’t come across before. I am sure her amazing chandelier creations will become collectors items one of these days. They are unique and stunning while still being created by… well, junk. She takes old bikes that are about to get recycled and turns them into things not even your wildest imagination will rival.

Carolina has totally found her niche, and the things she designs are just mind drummingly beautiful. There is no telling if they are for sale or if they are just pretty gallery art items (I am sure you can contact her if you want to buy a couple and see if she would be ready to part with any), but one thing is for sure… I doubt that she will willingly give some of these up for cheap. You see, when you come up with something this awesome, there is no telling what people will be ready to pay for it.
