Yesterday Richard wrote an article about a bunch of Zombie Tattoos that are skeevy enough to make your skin crawl. I have no idea why anyone would ever choose to get those permanently put on their body, but then again, that’s not for me to understand. Regardless, the pictures of those tattoos were a lot of fun to look at, and I wanted to follow up that article with a little more zombie madness today.
I decided to take a different approach than Richard though, specifically a more delicious one. I went on a hunt to find some zombie cupcakes, and boy did I ever find some! The first picture below is my favorite. You can click on that image to see those badboys supersized.
Those are cherry vanilla zombie cupcakes created by deviantART mad scientist ~CandyCasters. She made those by first making vanilla cupcakes with chunks of Maraschino cherries. She then frosted them with cherry vanilla buttercream icing. She made the brain cupcake toppers with Lindt white chocolate painted with cocoa butter. You can contact her on deviantART if you are interested in purchasing some of her unique cupcake toppers for yourself.
The second and third pictures below are of cupcakes created by flickr user xsomnis. Hers have a hint of raspberry instead of cherry. The base of the cupcake itself is raspberry red velvet cake, and the brain is chocolate flavored. She also used cupcake toppers, and the ones she used can be purchased here. If you’d like to make those for yourself, she created an entire series of photo steps at Zombie Food Guide to help you along. Wow, bloody zombie brains never looked so delicious.
