We’re well into the middle of the year but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t still a lot to look forward to. In fact, the best is yet to come as we prepare for long summer days and pleasant evenings. So, what exactly is in store for the heated season of 2019?

Le Mans 24hr, France

Feeling adventurous? Take a trip to France to enjoy one of the biggest motorsport events of the year. Hear the engines roar as over 40 race cars hurtle around corners wheel-to-wheel in the hopes of taking home the cup. End your afternoon off with a traditional barbecue while the revs of engines add to the exhilarating atmosphere. A must for any race car enthusiast!

2. Royal Ascot

Probably the most elite horse racing event of the year, the Royal Ascot has been around since the 19th century, Ascot is always the place to be in the UK if you want to rub shoulders with royalty and the famous. Apart from enjoying the thrill that comes with a bet, you will also be met with sophisticated fashion and a daily appearance made by Her Royal Highness herself – be prepared to doff your hat as the royal procession rolls on by.

5. Henley Regatta

Set in the beautiful and touristy town of Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, the Henley Royal Regatta is another sporting event that attracts the masses come summer. You’ll be met with nothing less than a unique ambience and stunning views.
