I’m sure all you foodies out there know that there are many tasty treats made with real gold. Yep, apparently gold is edible, who knew, right? What you may not know is that the luxurious all-suite Marquis Los Cabos Resort in Mexico recently launched a new poolside menu item which is creating quite a buzz in the food community.
It is a popsicle made with the world’s most expensive tequila, Tequilas Premium Clase Azul Ultra, and then sprinkled with 24 carat gold pieces. This delectable dessert will cost you $1,000. The popsicle is made on a standard popsicle stick and served with some gold chocolate coins.
I remember as a kid we used to pour Kool-Aid into ice cube trays, put wooden sticks in them, and then leave them in the freezer for a few hours. On a really hot day, we’d eat five or six of them at a time. Hmm…. eating five or six of these badboys could get pretty pricey pretty quick! If you don’t want to spend $1,000 on this popsicle, but you still want to enjoy the tequila, you can always order a shot for $500 bucks. Suddenly that seems like a bargain.
