50 States Of LEGO: Illustrated Miniature Stereotypes Of America

Do you know how your American state is stereotyped as? I think everyone at least has some idea what signifies their home state if you’ve been living in it for a while. When it comes to creativity, few tools are as useful as LEGO to realize something that you have in your mind. We have seen so many examples of this, but when it comes to states LEGO pioneer Jeff Freisen and his daughter probably have the most creative outlet called 50 States Of LEGO.

What Jeff has put together is something of a mammoth build in a miniature format. He has put together 50 different scenes that are all representing what each state is all about, or at least could be stereotyped as. It is amazing to see what he and his daughter have managed to put together with the very minimal amount of LEGO blocks. The overall feel and visually stunning execution of these 50 states of LEGO builds (if we may call them that), are as appealing as each individual state themselves.

Maybe we should call them LEGO scenes instead, as that is what they actually are after all. I personally think that Jeff and his daughter have been able to perfectly stereotype each and every state. It is mind-boggling how they have been able to create such epic scenes without using bucket-loads of blocks. With sheer creativity, they have managed to somehow recreate vast sceneries by just using color.

Question is if you think the stereotype states Jeff and his daughter have created are spot on. Do you think these 50 States Of LEGO builds represent your state? If not, then what do you think they should have done instead? LEGO has always been the toy or tool that many engineers and architects started out with, and I don’t think there will ever be a more versatile and creativity boosting toy. I think these 50 States of LEGO builds certainly proves that.
