I remember back in the ’90s when the only evidence of technology most of us had in our lives was in the computer on our desk. I’ll never forget that modem sound, and back in the day, that sound was like music to my ears. When the fax machine was introduced, it was huge news. It seemed like overnight every business had one. Even though that wasn’t that long ago, it seems like ancient history.
These days, there is evidence of technology all around us. Just look around you now at all the gadgets and devices that wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for the advances in technology. This video proves that technology can even touch something as mundane as the carpet in our lives.
The interactive digital rug in this 26-second video is so inspiring to me because it got my brain going a million directions about all the applications for this type of technology. As the little girl walks, you can see the green leaves appear. Think about how much fun it would be to customize a floor projection like this for your own office or personal space. I wish I had the name of who created this beauty so I could give the person or company proper credit. If you know, please share it in the comments so we can give them some link love.
