The remarkable people behind the creative community modifying computer cases never cease to impress me. To spend that amount of time and money on something that doesn’t really do anything other than just stand there is beyond me. However, I salute and respect their creativity to the fullest. I am still awaiting the mod that will actually levitate on its own command or even the drivable computer mod or something. You see, having these high expectations doesn’t seem to be over the edge at all. It’s quite common for creative people to break the boundaries and create new molds for what’s cool and impressive.
Modder Stephen “LeatherFace” Popa truly knows how to turn heads. With his outlandish PC mod, there is no telling where he will go next. Starting out as a level 10 PC, the modder created a fully remote controlled PC case built up of:
- Thermaltake TR2 1200 Watt
- Thermaltake Water-cooling Device
- Fully Functional 5-inch Color LCD
- 8GB of DDR3 Ballistic Tracer RAM
- i7-860 Processor Overclocked to 4.0 GHz.
As if that wasn’t enough, the remote control PC case mod also features a fully functional robotic arm that will obey your every command. Now the question is what is he planning to do with this badboy? A case mod looking like nothing less than a military vehicle is sure to grab people’s attention. The only thing missing is a voice controlled command registry, “Fetch me a brewski, Rog!”
