Just the other day I wrote an article about social media’s effect on romantic relationships. We’ve all known for a while that DM’ing on Twitter and messaging on Facebook is the new sexting, and tons and tons of people meet their soul mates and future spouses on Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites. However, I didn’t realize how popular it truly is. It’s becoming very common, and it’s true that getting on Twitter, for example, and tweeting all night is like going to a fun cocktail party (only without the little black dress).
For all of you who have a special social media romance in full bloom, I’m sure sometimes you wish that person didn’t live on the other side of the world. You might even think, “If only he could be here to hold me tonight.” One solution to this is a gadget called Pillow Talk which allows long distance lovers to hear each other’s real-time heartbeat in their pillows via a chest sensor.
If you’d rather take a simpler approach instead of sleeping with a sensor wrapped around your chest, how about try the Boyfriend Snuggle Pillow. This pillow will hug and cuddle you all night long. He will always be there for you, in good times and in bad. And, he even comes with a removable shirt. Hey, don’t knock it till you try it. It looks kinda soft and cozy to me!
