Igloo Hotel: Pure Zen In The Middle Of All The Snow

I am a real sucker for travel experiences and if I had to choose I would go for an experience rather than some gadget or a toy. The experience lasts a lifetime while a gadget only lasts as long as its technology is fresh enough to be compatible with the world. I recently wrote an article about the Tube Hotel and its creative approach which certainly is to give you a unique experience when traveling and staying in one of their rooms (tubes.) When traveling, the experience you will get out of it is much depending on the company and the budget that you have assigned to it. Of course everything isn’t about money as you can go a long way with just the lovely company of family and friends.

But if you would like a whole different experience from the ultimately ordinary hotel rooms, then I would suggest the Igloo Hotel in Kakslauttanen, Finland. It’s much like the hotel we have in the northern parts of Sweden called the Ice Hotel. The only difference is that the hotel in Finland is all about Igloos. And, while the Ice Hotel is all made out of snow and ice (recreated each and every year) the Igloo Hotel is constructed using concreted, wiring and a whole lot of glass.

You will experience northern lights, be face to face with nature and the magical winter wonderland from the very core of the Finnish forests. If you are one of the lucky ones to visit this hotel, you will be able to lay in your cosy bed, all warm watching the stars slowly float by in the sky above you as the ceiling is all made out of glass. A perfect tarvel tip for you, your friends and your loved ones. This is definitely one of the top alternatives should I ever take a vacation. Magic is just the beginning explaining the awesomeness of this hotel.
