I think it’s safe to say that most people are addicted to Facebook on some level. Richard wrote an article the other day called The World Is Officially Obsessed With Facebook. The stats in that post were mind blowing. It really is proof that the way we are communicating overall is changing fast. According to Check Facebook, right now there are 670,052,820 Facebook users in the world. Holy bajeeezus.
So, I get it that we are addicted to Facebook, and it seems like a lot of companies are doing anything they can to get a piece of that pie. Facebook novelties are everywhere. This is one that I would probably have to draw the line on though. I can’t imagine any self-respecting geek wearing these “Facebook Like and Dislike Social Network Cufflinks.” Supposedly they give you the ability to set your mood via your cuff.
These might be cute for a teenager to wear, but at fifty bucks a set, I think they are intended more for adults. I suppose as wacky as this seems, it’s not as crazy as the Egyptian couple who named their baby Facebook or the Israeli couple who named their baby “Like.” The funny thing is, if these said Twitter or tweet on them, I’d probably buy a set. If you would like to purchase these badboys, click over to CuffLinks.
