If you’re looking at growing your Instagram account through an agency, then you’re probably already aware of some of the bigger names that are doing the rounds at the moment. Do a Google of any one of them, and you’ll also probably find some pretty amazing reviews. Question is, are these reviews legit? The bigger question is still, are these companies legit? I recently decided to try out Growthsilo to see if they were any good. Unfortunately, this was a bad move.

What Is Growthsilo?
Growthsilo is an alleged Instagram growth company that claims to grow your IG with real, organic followers – no bots or fakes. At least, this is what they claim. The truth is unfortunately quite different. Growthsilo is run by the same people who own Growthoid. They are, to all intents and purposes, the same company. So if you’ve heard about the type of scam that Growthoid runs, you’ll probably already know exactly what I’m about to say in this review.
How Does Growthsilo Really Work
This can be broken down by how Growthsilo claims their service works, and the reality of how it actually does. They claim that their three steps are all it takes to grow your IG. Choose your plan, target your audience, grow your Instagram. Some of these steps are indeed true. You’ll start out by deciding on your plan (see pricing below), deciding what or who you want your audience to be – the next step is where things go a bit wrong.
Instead of seeing the promised, real growth of your Instagram with real people who are interested in your page or content, the only thing you’ll actually get is fake accounts and bots. Not exactly what you signed up for, right? I have since discovered FollowFox, a 100% genuine, human-powered IG growth service that really dedicates themselves to growing your Instagram, totally scam-free.
Growthsilo Pricing
Much like Growthoid, Growthsilo offers two different pricing packages, both at alleged discounted rates. They claim that it is “the top Instagram growth service around to date”. Their packages are Launch @$49 a month, and Accelerate @£99. Kinda pricey when you know that all you’re going to get for that is a bunch of bots and fake accounts, right?!
Still Being Charged Even After Requesting Cancellation
So after establishing that Growthsilo is NOT a professional company and uses bots and fake accounts, I of course decided to cancel my subscription with them. I have sent multiple emails to Growthsilo to cancel my subscription with no response at all. They continue to charge me to this day! I waited a few days – still no response. I will never use this company again. Please be aware this company is a fraud and only wants to take your money and not offer you anything for it!
A Review of Growthsilo
For a ‘service’ such as this, I’m fresh out of any positives I can mention! Still, it’s part of the review, so here goes.
Positives Of Growthsilo
I’m not sure if this can be classed as a positive but anyway. Their website is fairly easy to use and navigate. You can easily sign up and select which pricing plan you want to go with. Getting out of it, however, is extremely difficult.
Negatives Of Growthsilo
Where to start!
- Total scam. They will take your money and the only growth you will see is through fake accounts and bots.
- Fake reviews. The majority (if not all) of the positive reviews you see online are not real. They’re easy to spot and are not a true reflection of Growthsilo’s service.
- Virtually impossible to cancel your subscription. After signing up, you’ll notice that there is almost total radio silence from their end. Nobody to contact, nobody to speak to. This is despite the promise of a dedicated Account Manager. Money will continue to be taken out of your account each month.
- Dangerous for your IG. If IG detects fake accounts or bots, your account could be in danger of being suspended.
Is Growthsilo Safe To Use? Is it A Scam?
Growthsilo is most definitely not safe to use. You’ll see red flags from the get-go and encounter problem after problem. The smallest being there is no one to contact to assist you, the largest potential problem being that your Instagram account gets disabled due to the detection of bots and fake accounts. All in all, Growthsilo IS a scam and is by no means safe.
Growthsilo User Reviews
If you search for Growthsilo reviews online, you’ll quickly see that something strange is going on. They’re either amazing, 5* reviews, or awful, with people complaining and saying they are a scam. It is my belief that, much like Growthoid, the positive reviews are paid for, and the lower, 1* reviews are a reflection of the reality of their service.

If you take one piece of advice from me, let it be this: do NOT use Growthsilo! They are a total waste of time and money and will do nothing to help grow your Instagram. Upon further research and personal experience, I recommend using FollowFox. They are a genuine Instagram growth agency that will use organic, human-powered growth methods for your Instagram, totally safe, totally legit. Growthsilo, however, should not be trusted.
