How To: Be Awesome On Twitter

I’ve written 1,200 articles here on Bit Rebels, and many of them are about Twitter. It’s a topic that never gets old to me. When I started on Twitter back in 2009, there weren’t very many articles that explained the whole Twitter dynamic. Those of us who were on the site regularly just had to figure it out through trial and error. It’s probably one reason why we still remain a tight knit group of friends today. We really learned about it all together, and we were there for each other through the whole process.

People joining Twitter today have it much easier in my opinion because there are a ton of articles on the Internet that explain what it’s all about and how to do it. Twitter articles are also very popular on Twitter (duh!). For about two hours each day, I tweet all different kinds of Twitter articles so that anyone who follows me that might be brand new to the site can get some useful information that might help him or her along their Twitter journey.

This week, when I was doing my boot-scootin boogie around the Internet, I found two little feel good Twitter nuggets that I wanted to share with you. I know that when you first get on Twitter, it can be a little overwhelming. It can seem like a crazy mass of confusion. I want to assure you that if you just stick with it, you will soon see the value and friendship in the Twitter community. These two goodies will surely bring a smile to your face.

The first one is a post written by @skinnyjeans called 7 Ways You Can Be Fricking Awesome on Twitter. It’s just a little article that feels like a great big virtual hug.
