The newest feature on the iPhone 4S must be Siri. During the original presentation, Siri didn’t make such a great impression. I don’t think it was because she didn’t deliver, it was more because people had it in their minds that she was going to be yet another really bad voice command feature. However, with time, Siri has become quite a debated feature. I personally had the chance to try it out a couple of days ago, and of course, I had to ask it a question I was sure it was going to make me the master of it… well, it didn’t really turn out in my favor. I asked Siri, “Siri, are you a loser?” It’s not too surprising that I got a reply. However, I was surprised when I heard what she said which was, “Now we are not talking about me, we are talking about you.”
I guess I had it coming, right? Siri has made a huge impact since Apple revealed “her.” Since then, a lot of hilarious answers have of course been flooding the blogs all around the Internet. I think the only way to really make her feel right at home is to get her the IRIS9000 iPhone Dock. You remember the movie 2001: A Space Odyseey, right? It’s one of those super iconic movies that pretty much every geek is familiar with. Of course, it is a spoof on HAL9000.
Once again, it is ThinkGeek that has made this awesome IRIS9000 (I guess they couldn’t use the Siri name properly) iPhone dock available to everyone. If you feel like your iPhone and your Siri deserve a better “home,” you should totally go and pick it up. It will unload you a cool $59.99, but it will give you so much in return. Who doesn’t want a piece of movie history on your desk, especially when it is almost a replica of the HAL9000 with the voice of Siri? There are a lot of cool iPhone docks out there, but this one has to be the coolest one for sure. Don’t you agree?
