Tickled Pink That Hello Kitty Goes Tech At CES 2013

I haven’t written an article about Hello Kitty in a long time, and I can’t think of a better day to do it than today when I get to share with you all the pink Hello Kitty love at CES 2013. Hello Kitty is no stranger to CES, and she’s almost becoming a staple there each year. When I think of CES, I think of innovative, futuristic gadgets big and small that will have an impact on our lives in major ways. It’s fun to splice that up with a bit of Hello Kitty silliness, don’t you think?

From the looks of these pictures, Hello Kitty and electronics go together well. When I think of Hello Kitty from a branding perspective, I gotta give props to whoever thought up that crazy looking cat in the first place. She is no doubt the wealthiest kitty ever born, and judging from the fact that she’s at CES 2013, she’s obviously a techie too. If you are a Hello Kitty fan, you’ll be able to get everything from Hello Kitty Bluetooth speakers to toasters. There’s microwaves, audio jacks and much more.

Long gone are the days when Hello Kitty was a simple t-shirt design or a pom-pom accessory attached to the end of a pencil. She’s got a billion dollar empire now, and I’m sure the little girls of today will go through a Hello Kitty phase just like we did when we were young. Of course, some people never really outgrow that phase, but I’ll save that for a different article. In one of the pictures below you can see the Hello Kitty booth at CES 2013. That picture was taken 2 days ago. As you can see, anyone who dares to go inside will be tickled pink, in every way possible.
