2013 could become the year of the big choices. Online advertising and advertising in general are moving in several different directions, and no one really knows what will become the winning solution. Advertising has always been a tricky business. Too much and people will get tired of it. Too little and you won’t be able to supply the products or services which the advertising pays for. So what’s next? Will we all become human ad billboards which enable us to make a few extra bucks?
As a matter of fact, the human ad billboard concept is not a new one. We already see it everyday with branded t-shirts, jeans and what have you. However, the concept is about to get a significant bump. By utilizing the technology at out disposal, we can all make a few extra bucks if we choose to tap into the offers that soon will be presented us. This possibility is presented through a new concept called AdMobilize.
What AdMobilize basically is can be described easily by calling it a human ad billboard. That is basically what it is rallied around. Soon you’ll be able to tap into offers that will enable you to advertise your favorite brands on your smartphone, tablet or even in on your car. The concept is that you will show logos and commercials on your tablet by packing it into a transparent pocket on your backpack for example. It will broadcast the advertising while you are walking down the street, taking a bike ride or hanging out on the beach.
Think of it as an extension of the already branded t-shirts you so proudly march around in. With this, you will make a few extra bucks while doing it. Brands are lining up to start broadcasting their massages through your device. The question is, are we ready to become human ad billboards? I am sure the extra cash could be quite useful for students or people without jobs, but is it enough to justify becoming a human ad billboard? Only you know the answer to that question.
AdMobilize is a startup looking for funding through IndieGoGo to finalize their idea. The team and technology are already assembled, and they are merely looking to raise $25,000. It looks bright for AdMobilize as well since the campaign has just begun, and with cash already coming in, they still have another 35 days to successfully fund their idea.
