More and more we are seeing that the world is relying on technology to provide information and connectivity. You will notice that people make sure that if they will not have access to their computers for some reason, they will surely have access via their mobile phones. The mobile manufacturers are also making sure that the user experience continuously gets better. Nokia is one company that has been making waves with different user experience modifications and they have been hard at work with their research. I found a video that came from the Nokia research center which showcases 3 modifications: Graze Eye Tracking Eyewear that let’s you browse and select with your eyes, Hear with 3D audio and a Haptic Wrist device that allows you to fetch and feel media.
This concept allows you to experience immersion and effortless navigation in an augmented reality environment. There are also new types of interactions involving near-to-eye displays, gaze direction tracking, 3D audio, 3D video, gesture and touch. Through these new types of social linkages, people will be connected in innovative ways between the physical and digital worlds. Check out the video below and see how amazing the technology can be for us in the very near future.
