I love music and I am sure a lot of our readers love music too. Music is a universal language. Thank goodness for technology we now can listen to music anywhere. You can hear music via the radio on your phones, you can listen online and share via Blip.fm or Grooveshark.
One can also listen now via their iPod, iPhone, computers, or through MP3 players. There are several formats and one of them is MP3. MP3, is a patented digital audio encoding format using a form of lossy data compression. It is a common audio format for consumer audio storage, as well as a de facto standard of digital audio compression for the transfer and playback of music on digital audio players.
MP3 is an audio-specific format that was designed by the Moving Picture Experts Group as part of its MPEG-1 standard. The group was formed by several teams of engineers at Fraunhofer IIS in Erlangen, Germany, AT&T-Bell Labs (now a division of Alcatel-Lucent) in Murray Hill, NJ, USA, Thomson-Brandt, and CCETT as well as others. It was approved as an ISO/IEC standard in 1991
Music is usually downloaded on people’s phones and now there is an online tool that enables you to cut your MP3 music and use it as ringtone. Its called the MP3 Cut. The service allows you to do this in 3 easy steps. Go to the site. Upload the music that you want to edit. Select the desired interval and then split then download. Simple right. Try it yourself. Now there is no need to eat up too much space on your phone just so you can hear the song when someone calls you.
