Steering Wheel Drum Machine Turns Your Boring Ride Into A Party

When you’re driving long distances, do you ever think about how boring it gets? Treading mile after mile while just listening to music can be quite lame if you ask me. If you have someone with you, it certainly makes things a whole lot more fun. But there are only so many things you can talk about in a car, right? There are actually people trying to solve the boredom from driving long distances or even the boredom from sitting in traffic. The steering wheel drum machine is one of those solutions.

There is a fine line between security and fun when you’re in a car, don’t get me wrong on that point. You have to keep an eye on the road at all times. If you don’t, you could end up in a position where you can no longer handle the car you are driving, and that will most likely lead to horrible results. The steering wheel drum machine is an invention that aims to make your drive just a little bit more fun, yet it still allows you to keep your eyes on the road. I know people, including myself, who beatbox while bored in the car. With this badboy, things could get a whole lot more creative.

This steering wheel drum machine is actually dubbed the Smack Attack and is an invention created by Gregor Hanuschak. When placed on your steering wheel, your car will be almost “science fictionized,” and it will look like something from the Blade Runner movie. The steering wheel drum machine features several different touch pads which you can tap to create a cool rhythm. The sounds associated with the pads are setup through your iPhone and even connected to your iTunes app.

What this means is that this steering wheel drum machine is your ultimate entertainment system once it is installed. We were unable to determine what this costs, but you can keep an eye on the official website for that information. However, right now you can setup a user account and start uploading and downloading sounds that you want for your steering wheel drum machine. Let the rock out begin!
