Street Legal Bumper Cars – The Playground Just Got Bigger

What can we do to make the world a little more fun and creative? A lot, I agree! But is there anything in particular that we could pursue to make our everyday lives just a little bit brighter and more pleasing? We already have a ton of entertainment options scattered around the cities including amusement parks, box office DVD stores, you name it. Everything is there for our pleasure. They all have one thing in common: They are all confined to one area where they are supposed to be used, either at home, in the amusement park, etc… You get the picture I am sure.

There is this guy named Joe that wants to change all that. He has gone into business overhauling bumper cars from the ’30s, ’40s and ’50s, and he transforms them into street legal vehicles. He has, so far, built 8 vehicles fully working and approved to be used on the streets, and more are coming.

However, don’t expect to be buying one anytime soon. Joe was recently offered $75,000 for one of his cars and without even thinking about it, he turned the offer down. He just doesn’t want to part from his brain children, and it is likely to stay that way for a long time to come. Joe has proved that it is actually possible to transform a bumper car into street legal car, so what are we waiting for? Wouldn’t it be fun to bump into someone on the way to work… it’s bumper war time!
