Manic Doodles: These Will Take You Weeks To Look Through

Do you remember when phones had cords? We were confined to that area around where the phone was attached to the wall or wherever it was placed since the cord pretty much didn’t give us any choice. I think I have touched on this subject before, but most homes had a notebook or piece of paper close to the phone in case we wanted to write something down. Usually we did nothing other than doodle on that piece of paper, and by the end of each phone call, we had an impressive collection of tribals, patterns and everything else we could doodle without using our brain to concentrate on it.

However, you don’t know what real doodling is until you have seen the doodles drawn by artist Sagaki Keita. I am sure you have at some point looked down at that piece of paper of yours and thought, “Dang, this one got really elaborate. I should almost frame it!” Am I right? Well, as mentioned, when you see the doodles that Sagaki has managed to put together, you will understand that he is in an entirely different league than we are.

Not only are these quite impressive doodles, but they are insanely intricate as well. In these few pictures where the camera zooms in on the drawings, you can start to see more and more “things” appear in front of your eyes. Talk about adding detail to the whole. I mean, when you look at it from a distance, you think it is only “that” doodle with a little bit of detail and shadows added to it. However, it’s way more than that. It’s never-ending more than that actually. I don’t know any other way to put it. Let yourself be impressed, and let the inspiration flow right through you. Are you itching to start doodling?
