I read the other day that Americans are known by people all over the globe for being the most impatient people in the world. I would have to agree with that since everyone I know who lives in this country is impatient about at least one thing. But isn’t everyone? Are there really countries where everyone is just easy going and patient about everything?
If you are lacking patience like me, or if you are running low on any other personality trait or emotion which you’d like more of (like trust, passion, inner peace or self-esteem), I’m happy to say that now you can buy a little can of it, sort of.
Mad Hagstrom and Niclas Jessen from FLOWmarket have created and photographed some canned goods of intangible things that we might need from time to time. These remind me of the river rocks we sometimes see with words of inspiration carved into them. I really like the black and white simplicity of these cans. You can actually purchase these at The FLOWmarket for around $17 each. They come as empty sealed cans, and they materialize our immaterial needs. What a cute friendship gift. Too bad the tops don’t screw off because then they could be used as little gift boxes. I’d like to have one can of each, and I’d put them in my kitchen cabinet next to my cans of tomato soup and tunafish.
