Got Allergies? Colorful Microscopic Pollen Illustrated

It’s always fun to see the world around us from the view of a microscope, isn’t it? It makes us realize that what the human eye is capable of seeing really doesn’t capture the big picture.

I remember when I wrote the article that illustrated what drops of alcoholic beverages look like under a microscope. It was fascinating because I wasn’t expecting all the bright colors and unique patterns. The images below show what different types of pollen look like under a microscope.

I’ve had allergies my whole life, and it’s hard to believe these pretty little grains of pollen are responsible for all that sneezing!
