6 Star Wars Pumpkin Carvings With Detail Insanity!

Recently we announced the winners of the our awesome Halloween giveaway and among the prizes was one heck of a Star Wars pumpkin carving. That particular one was sent to the winner, and we hope it will get a good spot in her home on Halloween. Pumpkins are one of the main attractions on Halloween, if not THE most popular one. Stores all over the world are smacked full of these things, and every year they seem to be piled up in an ever growing stack. Why we started using pumpkins for Halloween I actually don’t know. I haven’t researched that, but the fact is they make good lanterns for a dark winter, at least here in Sweden.

When I saw some pictures of the pumpkins the dude who carved our Halloween giveaway pumpkin had done, I was amazed. They are truly incredible, and you should really have a look at his website called Masterpiece Pumpkins. Naturally I wanted to check out even more pumpkin carvings (because it is an addicting hobby, right?) so I set out on a daily journey riding the waves of the Internet. I think I found some that will completely blow you away!

I managed to find 6 pumpkin carvings that you just have to see to believe. They are all about Star Wars, but they are insanely detailed and I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to believe they were carved or just photoshopped. Well, they are neither really. These pumpkins are called “Faux Pumpkins” or “Gemmy Craft Pumpkins,” and they are basically pumpkins wrapped in a canvas that allows them to glow with whatever pattern or picture you want on them making them look incredibly real. If no one had told me, I would have still believed they were carved or at least etched… or something like that. In either case, you have to admit that these are nothing less than amazingly good looking pumpkins!
