You might think you are the only one who can’t understand the language that your boss speaks sometimes. But don’t you worry, there’s a whole world out there full of people who are in the same boat as you. To fully and completely understand what it is that your boss is saying requires both a little bit of experience and skill, which you can only acquire by actually looking at what it is that your boss want to achieve. Yeah I know, why spend time on that when you have a boatload of work to get done in order to even keep that job of yours. The fact is, a lot of people sometimes feel like they have no clue what their boss is actually saying. And with good reason!

A boss is a certain kind of person, it’s just how it is. Many would say a boss needs to be a leader in order to successfully lead a company to success. But there are a lot of different kinds of leaders, and that is something we seldom take into consideration when we start thinking about all this. Opinions vary about what really is the best kind of boss. My personal opinion is that a boss needs to be driven and have a clear idea about where he wants the company to end up. If you can deliver that mindset and get your employees to feel the same way, there is no way you can fail as a group. Dedication is a powerful engine when it starts revving, but you need to know when to switch gears in order to get the most power out of it, if you know what I mean.

Next time you stand there like a big question mark thinking to yourself, “What the heck is this person talking about?” or “What does this person really mean by that?” know that all you need to do is to consult your handy little boss decoder, and you should have a clearer picture.

Heck, why not print this one out in mini-format, and put it in your wallet instead? That way you can just bust it out in front of your boss and kind of decode the situation right there and then, in real time. Just take a deep breath, it’s all about what you accomplish in the end. If you know what you’re doing and do it well, the sky’s the limit. At work there should always be time for fun and games. It makes the whole thing worthwhile, don’t you think?
