Secret Storage Compartment For iPad Doubles As Wrist Support

If you are like me, and you take your iPad (and other mobile devices) with you almost everywhere in your bag, you probably also lug around your accessories. My bag is full of charging cables, earpods, and other little techie doo-dads. I’ve often thought it would sure be nice to be able to pack that stuff up easier so it doesn’t take up so much space. This Smart Cargo solves that. It provides a secret storage compartment that stays hidden inside the triangle of your rolled-up Smart Cover.

This is a brilliant way to carry the accessories to your iPad inside a storage compartment attached to the iPad itself. That way, you don’t have to keep up with carrying them around another way. And, everything will always be right there when you need it. The best part is, when you sit down to use your iPad, you can detach it and use it as a wrist support.

This Smart Cargo compartment is very lightweight, and it doesn’t add much bulk to your iPad at all. It’s hard on the outside, and lined with felt on the inside, so it’s safe for your tiny fragile accessories. It attaches to your Smart Cover by using the 14 magnets that are already there. This is something I think Apple should consider incorporating into all iPads. I know that probably won’t happen, but it sure makes sense.

The creators of this Smart Cargo storage compartment recently began their Kickstarter campaign. They just launched six days ago, but at the time I’m writing this, they’ve already secured over three times their financial goal. Since they’ve already been completely funded, you can get one of these for $20 by clicking over to Kickstarter. What a great idea!
