The Google Nexus One vs. The iPhone 3GS

I’m a phone fanatic. It’s true. I always have to get the latest and greatest phones and compare them. When I bought my Droid, the first thing I did was compare it to my iPhone. Now, with the introduction of the new Google phone, the Nexus One, I find myself wanting to do a comparison again.

Within the past few days, the great people at have done some comparing of their own in these two videos below, and I wanted to share them with you.

Wow, the packaging and the sleeve for the Nexus phone is gorgeous. The screen looks a little bit too big for me, and I’m not a huge fan of the standard Android buttons. However, on the flip side, this phone is as thin as a pencil and we all know how insanely powerful it’s 1GHz Snapdragon processor is. I’m actually quite impressed that there are already 16,000 apps for the Nexus One.

This first video shows an unboxing of the Nexus One and a few comparisons with the iPhone 3GS.

This second video is much more detailed and according to, “In this video we compare their hardware specs, browser, speed, navigation and more. Sit back and watch as these two heavyweights go head-to-head in the most comprehensive comparison on the web.”

So what do you think? Is this the iPhone killer of the month?
